Description

Take control of the war for air supremacy in the 41st millennium.

Aeronautica Imperialis: Flight Command propels the excitement of the Warhammer 40,000 universe into the stratosphere in a richly detailed aerial combat game.

Enter the arena of tactical airborne warfare like never before as you launch into the war-torn skies of the 41st Millennium. Plan your manoeuvres and issue your commands, then pray to the Emperor (or to Gork and Mork) as your strategy unfolds in real time cinematic playback. Take to the skies as the heroes of the Imperial Navy and defend the Imperium or take command of the Ork Airwaagh and lead the planetary plundering from the air, for when the skies are dominated, control over the land soon follows.

Delivering a deep yet visually engaging combination of simultaneous turn-based strategy and atmospheric cinematic action, Aeronautica Imperialis: Flight Command takes the core mechanics and complexity of the tabletop game and streamlines them into an immersive tactical experience with more explosions!

My review might be bias because I love and play Game Workshop games, Aeronautica Imperialia is almost like the tabletop game and that's why i like it, During this Covid time's playing a game at a store or someone else's house is unlikely. The graphics are not great but work well for what the game is, game play is great. Audio could have been better if they had some voice over stuff but planes sound fine, but I get it. This is coming for a small company with this game only under belt. I would have like more of a co op to the game. I can invite my steam friends but can not find other people playing in the game and invite them. Maybe that something they will add in an update. I hope they keep adding to the game, Tau, Eldar and Necrons would be great too.

Do I think this game is worth $24.99? That's a hard, this game can have be worth $25 but it will need a lot more race's and planes. It's cheaper then playing the real tabletop version and you don't need to build and paint the planes. Yes, it will be worth $25 dollars with updates and expansion and that's if you don't have to pay for the expansions. Get it if you like Game Workshop games or you are interested in it. Go watch some gameplay on twitch or youtube. For me this was the same price as if I went or order to food for the night. If you do get it look me up, I'm always done to play.
