The second part of the famous fantasy strategy carefully transfers all the key moments of the predecessor to the modern technological level, while preserving the unique atmosphere and unsurpassed firm humor of Majesty. Every inhabitant of the world Majesty 2 has a unique appearance and manner of behavior. Heroes can unite in parties, build each other intrigues and eventually move into a more prestigious class, and a variety of monsters do not hesitate to act in accordance with their desires. The player-king can vary the degree of personal participation in what is happening on the territory of the state: a control is made on the control panel, allowing to accelerate or slow down the course of events. A special system of awards encourages the player to closely monitor the subjects and turns the routine work of the fairy-tale ruler into an interesting activity.

• New flags: earlier, in the first part of Majesty, the player could control the characters by setting two flags - the "attack flag" and the "exploration flag". In Majesty 2, to these two flags of control, two new ones are added - the "defense flag" and the "flag of fear"
• A new system for forming parties of heroes: unlike the first Majesty, in Majesty 2 the player himself can form parties of heroes, including members of different classes in them
