First Gameplay Trailer for Hunger Reveals Grim Napoleonic-Era Shooter Inspired by Hunt: Showdown 1896

Good Fun Corporation, the studio behind Hell Let Loose, has unveiled the first full gameplay trailer for its next project, Hunger — a dark PvPvE extraction shooter set in a plague-ridden Napoleonic Europe.
Gameplay-wise, Hunger bears a strong resemblance to Hunt: Showdown 1896, but places a greater emphasis on melee combat. As players explore the “Broken World,” they’ll scavenge gear, upgrade skills, and take on missions — all while fending off both grotesque monsters and rival survivors.
Death in Hunger comes with a steep price: any gear equipped at the time is lost. However, players can progress through a talent system with over 100 perks, customizing their playstyle — from sneaking quietly and reloading faster to lockpicking and weapon repair.
Hunger is expected to launch in Early Access in 2025 on Steam and the Epic Games Store.
